The 2017 senior class from the Eastern New Mexico University football team has a lengthy list of accomplishments since the 2013 season. In 2013, the Hounds earned a share of the Lone Star Conference title, before playing in back-to-back postseason appearances in 2014 and 2015.

The quartet led the Hounds’ to their finest season in decades with a top-25 ranking for the first time since the 2003 season.

This week, four prominent members of the senior class will display the talent which elevated the program regionally and nationally for the last several years. Kamal Cass, Isaiah Talbert, Tobi Amadi, and D’Maujeric Tucker will take part in All-Star Games.

Cass, the program’s all-time leading rusher will play in the Dream Bowl on Friday. A three-time All-American, he rushed for a career-best 276 yards against nationally-ranked Midwestern State to conclude his ENMU career.

Talbert, a two-time All-Lone Star Conference choice, will play in the NAIA Bowl on Saturday. Talbert’s blocking helped the Hounds run one of the most efficient offenses in the nation and lead the LSC in rushing every year he was on the team.

Tucker has been known for big plays throughout his career. His 99-yard kickoff return in 2013 sparked the Greyhounds to their first Wagon Wheel win in a decade, on the way to a league championship. He will play in Monday’s All-American Bowl.

Amadi, a First Team All-LSC selection, will also play in Monday’s All-American Bowl. His performance helped ENMU finish third in the conference in total defense, while he ranked eighth in the league in passes broken up.
