Amanda LeAnn Knowles-Ashford December 10, 1974 ~ March 7, 2026 (age 51)

Memorial services for Amanda LeAnn Knowles-Ashford, of Farwell, TX, will be held at 2:00 PM, Fri., Mar. 13, 2026, at the Floyd Baptist Church with Rev. Rick Wilcher officiating assisted by Rev. Wayne Boydston. Greg Ray, David Schlehuber, Damon Schlehuber, Dustin Ray, Kendall Buzzard and Roy Diabueno will serve as honorary pallbearers.  Those desiring to send flowers for the service are requested to have them delivered to the Floyd Baptist Church.

Amanda LeAnn Knowles-Ashford was born Dec. 10, 1974, in Clovis, NM to the home of Mary Lou (Bilberry) and Robert Boldin Knowles, and passed from this life on the morning of Mar. 7, 2026, in Lubbock, TX.  Amanda grew up in Denver City, TX, and graduated from high school there in 1993.  She went on to earn a bachelor’s degree in education from Wayland Baptist University in Plainview, TX.  She later earned two master’s degrees from the same university.  One was in business, and the other was in education with an emphasis in history.

In 1998 she was married to Nolan Ashford.  The couple had four children, a daughter and three sons.  For several years she worked with her mother and aunt at Amanda’s Floral in Clovis.  Later she established 2 G Construction, as well as having her hand in several other ventures.

Amanda was saved at the age of 8 and was baptized at the Faith Baptist Church in Denver City.  She was an excellent cook.  Amanda was especially knowledgeable of the Bible and enjoyed sharing that knowledge with others.  Amanda attended the Floyd Baptist Church.

She is survived by her three sons, Conan Ashford of Clovis, Zachary Ashford of Farwell, TX and Noah Ashford of Lubbock, TX; her daughter and son-in-law, Catherine and Tyler Krueger of Slaton, TX; four grandchildren, Holly, Nolan and Sean Ashford of Clovis and Allie Krueger of Slaton, TX; two sisters, Balinda and David Schlehuber of Levelland, TX and Jennifer and Greg Ray of Portales; and a niece, Jacklynn Ray, two nephews, Damon and Marki Schlehuber and Dustin and Kass Ray; and one great-nephew, Kaden Schlehuber.  She was preceded in death by both of her parents.
