Press Release :  Tina Dixon Commission Chair Roosevelt County

 

 

Portales, New Mexico – The Board of Commissioners of Roosevelt County announces today that County Manager Andrew Patterson has submitted his resignation, effective September 12, 2025.

 

Patterson has served the county since June 2025 and has been instrumental in leading the county through numerous challenges and initiatives, including preparation of Fiscal Year 2025 final financial statements and FY 26 budget and the issuance of industrial revenue bonds in the amount of 250,000,000.

 

“It has been a privilege to serve the residents of Roosevelt County and to work alongside such a dedicated team; the Commission is very passionate about its mission, said Patterson.” “I am proud of what we have accomplished together and am confident that the county is well-positioned for future success. However, after careful consideration, I have decided to put my family first and to pursue objectives that are in the best interest of my family.”

 

The Board of Commissioners expresses its gratitude to Patterson for his leadership and commitment to the county. The Board of County Commissioners are thankful for Patterson’s service and the positive impact he has made in our community, we wish him all the best in his future endeavors.

 

The Board will begin the process searching for a replacement in the coming weeks. Updates will be shared with the community as the process unfolds.
