PORTALES, NM -The Lone Star Conference released its Honor Roll for the 2017 Fall semester and honored 1,213 student athletes. The list included 330 perfect grade-point averages, with Eastern New Mexico University leading the way with 48.

Eastern’s 48 perfect GPAs in Fall 2017 is an increase from Spring 2017, when the Hounds placed third with 36 total.

The LSC releases its honor roll at the end of each semester. Criteria for being included are maintaining a place on the roster and a 3.3 GPA for the designated semester.

Overall, the Greyhounds had 140 student athletes on the Honor Roll, which tied UT Permian Basin for third place. Last year, ENMU paced the league in both semesters with 155 honorees in the spring and 171 in the fall semester.
