John Willard Smith May 15, 1927 ~ May 13, 2026 (age 98)

Graveside services will be held Tuesday, May 19, 2026 at the Elida Cemetery.  Honoray pall bearers will be all friends and family.  The family will receive guests at the funeral home on Monday evening from 6 until 8 PM.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Broadview Baptist Church, 1302 N. Frankford, Lubbock, TX 79416 or your favorite charity.  John’s family would like to thank everyone at Cornerstone Caregivers, especially Irene, Ruth, Dee, Shanelle and Ezzie for their compassionate care and friendship. They would also like to thank everyone from Beyond Faith Hospice including Chris, Nathan and Kristina and everyone at Callendar House of Lubbock.
