Obituary
LaJuana (Cantrell) Lee, 86 of Allen, Tx passed away peacefully in Allen, Tx on March 21, 2020.
LaJuana was born on August 2, 1933 in Portales, New Mexico to Kay Cantrell & Nevee (Wilhite) Cantrell. They both proceeded her in death.

She is survived by one brother Jack Cantrell of Portland, Oregon, her children Ron (Joy) Lee of Krum, Texas, Creta (Scott) Reed of Allen, Texas and Rick (Jennifer) Lee of Mooreland, Oklahoma, 8 grandchildren & 14 great grandchildren & many nieces and nephews.

LaJuana was a wonderful cook, best known for her yeast rolls & desserts. She worked many years as a cook in the school cafeteria at the Three Way School, Maple, Texas. She later ran the cafe at the Nickel’s Gin in Goodland, Texas.

She loved all her family. A niece recently commented how sweet she was to all that knew & loved her & she would always make sure all the kids had a good time on our many family vacations together. She was loved & will be missed by so many. Sadly, dementia robbed her of so much in the last few years of her life.
Interment will be at Portales Cemetery, Portales, NM. Because of COVID-19 and the related restrictions a memorial service will be scheduled later in the year.

In lieu of flowers please make a donation to meal on wheels or charity of your choice in her name.
