Graveside services for Nathaniel Conan Lee, 18, of Portales, will be held at 10:00 AM, Wed., Aug. 30, 2017 with Pastor Don Hay officiating.

Nathaniel Conan Lee was born Sept. 12, 1998, in Clovis, to the home of Rosie (Baca) and Randy E. Lee, and died at his home in Portales on Aug. 25, 2017, just 11 days short of his 19th birthday. Nathaniel was a lifelong resident of Portales, and a 2017 graduate of Portales High School. Although he was disabled, his dream was to become a UFC fighter. He loved boxing and watching matches, as well as various other sports. As a boy he played in Little League and city league sports. He liked to physically work out and enjoyed riding his bike with his brother.

Nathaniel enjoyed listening to a variety of music, from classic rock to death metal and other heavy metal music. He liked to watch movies, and particularly liked watching horror films. Although he did not like Batman, he liked “The Joker” and other “bad guys” in the films. His favorite Joker was played by Heath Ledger and later by Jared Leto. Nathaniel bought posters and other items pertaining to the films and his favorite actors and characters. He also liked watching Sons of Anarchy.

Nathaniel was a Hank Basket fan, and therefore an Eagles fan. When Hank was traded, he remained loyal to the Eagles. He also liked watching soccer matches.

He is survived by his parents, Rosie and Randy Lee of Portales; two brothers, Jimmy Lee Christopher Baca and Cain Anthony Lee both of Portales; a sister and brother-in-law, Samantha Marie Lee and Michael Lindsay of Clovis; is paternal grandmother and step-grandfather, Billie Jean and Howard Farris of Waco, TX; as well as numerous aunts and uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Helen and Bonie Baca.
