INVOCATION & PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE:
OFFICIAL SALUTE TO THE NEW MEXICO FLAG: “I salute the flag of the State of New Mexico the
Zia symbol of perfect friendship among united cultures.”
PUBLIC COMMENT: The Public has the opportunity to provide comment on subjects regarding City Business, during the public comment period. Speakers’ comments will be limited to three (3) minutes unless the Mayor and/or Councilor(s) requests more information. The time limit is given in an effort to allow public input but also to move the agenda forward in a prompt yet efficient manner. All Speakers must sign in at the beginning of the Meeting. Topics are limited to six (6) speakers per topic. Public comments are not meant to resolve speakers’ issues; however, speakers may be redirected to the appropriate city department for further
assistance. A time will start as soon as the speaker addresses the Mayor and Council Members. When the limit of three minutes is reached the City Clerk, or Deputy City Clerk will verbally declare “TIME”.
