The Portales Lady Rams opened their 2019 season at an away game against Hobbs on August 27 at 6:30 pm.
The Lady Rams lost Set 1 25-19, but came back and won the 2nd set by 4. The 3rd set ended in Hobbs favor with Portales down by just 2 points. The 4th was also in Hobbs favor by 2 points, handing the Lady Rams a loss to finish their first game. The final score was 3-1.
Portales is now 0-1 to start the season, and will face Clovis on Sept 3 at 6:30 pm in Clovis.
