The Portales Lady Rams traveled 19 miles to Clovis for the Foxy Drive-In Shootout. After 4 periods of play, Portales lost their first basketball game of the season to Clovis. The final score was 46-45. The Lady Rams were in the lead of the 2nd and 3rd periods, but fell by a few points in the 4th to leave them with a 1 point loss.
The matchup proved to show that the Lady Rams are starting off the season well when playing toe to toe with a 6A team.
