PUBLIC COMMENT: The Public has the opportunity to provide comment on subjects regarding City Business, during the public comment period. Speaker’s comments will be limited to three (3) minutes unless the Mayor and/or Councilor(s) requests more information. The time limit is given in an effort to allow public input but also to move the agenda forward in a prompt yet efficient manner. All Speakers must sign in at the beginning of the Meeting. Topics are limited to six (6) speakers per topic.

Approval of Recommendation for the Following Resolutions. These Items are All Past Dangerous Properties and Have Been Voted on by Council Before. Council Must Approve Re-declaration of Property to Start Process over. As such, each resolution must be voted on individually.

1. Resolution 2025-09 to Declare 507, 509 and 511 N. Ave. K a Dangerous Property.
2. Resolution 2025-10 to Declare 820 E. Elbe a Dangerous Property.
3. Resolution 2025-11 to Declare 824 E. Elbe a Dangerous Property.
4. Resolution 2025-12 to Declare 700 S. Abilene a Dangerous Property.
5. Resolution 2025-13 to Declare 815 E. 1st St. a Dangerous Property.
Grant Related Items:
6. Approval of Resolution 2025-14 in Support of the City’s and Portales Municipal Airport 2025-2027
Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBE) Program. A DBE Program is Required to be in Compliance
with DOT and to Receive Grants.
7. Ratification of Grant in the Amount of $26,393.00 for a Fenced Dog Play Area Adjacent to the New
Shelter.
