BAKERSFIELD TWANG

The hard driving honky tonk sound coming out of California in the 1960’s forms the foundation for Bakersfield Twang. Combining a solid rhythm foundation and great guitar work with tight vocal harmonies, this band knows how to deliver a musical punch.

While vintage to late model country music is the core of Bakersfield Twang, the band spices up their shows with great songs from other genres. Whether playing country, Texas Red Dirt, rock, blues, funk, or tejano, the music is delivered with great energy and fun.

Versatility is key to the band’s performances. John plays both lead guitar and steel guitar, switching back and forth during most songs (with a little mandolin for good measure). Billy provides great vocals and plays bass while occasionally playing guitar, fiddle, and drums. Jeremy, while no longer a full time member, makes guest appearances on bass, guitar, and drums along with his own great vocals. Lendy provides most of the main vocals and plays lead guitar but will also play bass to showcase the other band talents.

With years of performing experience, this band knows what it takes to entertain. From the song selection to the sound quality to the band member’s personalities, audiences of all ages will enjoy themselves. Come to a Bakersfield Twang show and see for yourself or book them for your next event. You’ll be glad you did.
