“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made.

In Him was life, and the life was the light of men. And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it.”

John 1:1-5 NKJV

Christmas is not only the memory of our beginning as recorded in Genesis, but **the gift** of our renewal through Christ Jesus.

“… the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.”

John 1:14 NKJV

“For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world should be saved through Him.”  John 3:17 NET

Through the finished work of the cross, our Creator has begun again with us – restoring what was lost and giving potentially more than we ever had before.

“So then, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; what is old has passed away – look, what is new has come!  God made the one who did not know sin to be sin for us, so that in Him we would become the righteousness of God.”

2 Corinthians 5:17, 21 NET

“Thanks be to God for His Indescribable Gift!”

2 Corinthians 9:15 NET
