COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Following an undefeated week with road wins over Texas A&M International and Texas A&M-Kingsville, the Eastern New Mexico women’s basketball team is ranked No. 8 in the Week 9 D2SIDA South Central Regional Poll.

The Greyhounds own a 13-5 overall record and are tied for fifth in the Lone Star Conference standings with a 7-5 mark in league play. Eastern has been represented in all ten of the D2SIDA Regional Rankings so far this season.

The Green and Silver tipped off the week with a 68-60 comeback win over International, fueled by an explosive second half. Redshirt freshman Natalie Stice recorded a career-high 22 points as she knocked down six three-pointers which is tied for the fourth-most in the ENMU single-game record book.

Overcoming yet another slow start, the High Plains squad came to life again in the final two quarters of play as they comfortably defeated Kingsville 60-45. Head Coach Josh Prock earned his 200th victory in his 12th season as a head coach at the NCAA level.

The Hounds welcome a pair of in-divisional rivals this weekend as UT Permian Basin and Western New Mexico travel to Greyhound Arena. Eastern will look to avenge a 71-63 loss to UTPB that it suffered on the road earlier this season.
