Countdown to the Launch of National Health Center Week 2017 Begins
National Campaign Celebrates the Key to Healthier Communities in Portales
La Casa Family Health Center is hosting a free event in Portales in honor of National Health Center Week (NHCW). The national campaign runs August 13th-19th with the goal of raising awareness about the mission and accomplishments of America’s Health Centers.
The Back to School Health Center Celebration is a free event; offering wellness, fitness, food, music, and fun for the entire family! Free health services include: immunizations, dental screenings, and blood pressure checks. There will also be free Zumba and Zumba Kids classes, a bouncy house, outdoor games, and community vendors. La Casa Family Health Center’s continued growth reflects our community’s demand for quality, affordable, primary care. “For those who have heard about La Casa but are not currently our patients, I would encourage you to come out for this event. We’ve added so many new providers to our team, and they are looking forward to the opportunity to meet and greet with members of our community,” says Kaitlyn White, Marketing Director for La Casa.
La Casa Family Health Center will host its Back to School Health Center Celebration on Friday, August 18th from 4pm-7pm at the Portales clinic (1515 West Fir). Bicycles and backpacks filled with school supplies will be raffled every five minutes throughout the course of the event.
