The Dora girls’ were placed at seed 15, and were matched up against seed 2 in the state tournament. The game was in Tatum on Saturday, March 9.
The Lady Coyotes went into the game facing a big challenge, with an opponent who had 24-4 season. Tatum defeated the Lady Coyotes with a score of 40-29, knocking Dora out of the running for the state title in Class 1A.
The Dora girls finished the season 15-12 and 6-4 in district.
