Game: Friday, January 18 at 7pm in Elida
The Elida Tigers record of 8-6 has come with hard fought games this season. The boys are trying to blaze a trail to state as they take on tough opponents this season. Friday night, they faced Mescalero Apache in a non-district game. With Coach Logan Turnbow of Clovis at the wheel, Elida is taking win after win. Elida carries the lead through the entire game until Mescalero Apache attempted a comeback in the 4th. Luckily, Elida managed to hold them off, and won the game. The final score in Elida’s favor was 56-46.
