PORTALES, N.M. – Episode four of the “Inside Greyhound Athletics Podcast” featuring new head men’s basketball coach Brent Owen is now available.

The Inside Greyhound Athletics Podcast gives Eastern New Mexico fans a chance to hear about the past, current and future states of each athletic program. Coach Owen discusses his plans for the future of Eastern New Mexico men’s basketball with host Ryan Shumaker as well as his excitement to finally meet in person with his team as student-athletes return to campus beginning Oct. 20.

Coach Owen also gives an insider’s look at some of his most memorable moments during his career as an assistant coach at Division II power Southern Indiana. He paints a picture of why exactly he chose to come to Eastern New Mexico and previews his plan to replicate the success he helped build at Southern Indiana here on the High Plains.

He also takes a look at a new crop of Greyhounds as he discusses some new faces to the program as well as a talented bunch of newcomers that he is now tasked with improving prior to a potential winter schedule.
