The Portales Lady Rams traveled to Roswell to face the Coyotes in their home gym on September 18, 2019. The first serve was launched at 6:30 PM and proved to be a hard fought battle between the two teams.
The Lady Rams lost the first set by 5 points. They came out on top the 2nd set and won it by 4. The 3rd was tied for quite a while, until Portales made match point and came out on top 28-26. With mixed results, the two teams continued playing a 4th set with Portales winning, which set them up for success going into the 5th and final set. Portales scores 4 more points than Roswell in the last set, winning the game. The final score was 3-2 over the Coyotes, which moved the Lady Rams to 6-1 this season!
