FAITH- “The assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen.” Hebrews 11:1

When I think of Faith the scripture Matthew 14:22-33 comes to mind.  When Jesus calls Peter out of the boat and tells him to walk on water.   Like the boat, we sometimes feel tossed to unknown places into the sea of life, but God is saying don’t look at the storms to the left or the right or the storms ahead, instead prepare to walk on water.

When your faith is in Jesus and Him alone you can walk on water.  You simply need faith the size of a mustard seed. Jesus stands in the middle of the storm.  The waves and rushing winds are under His feet.  He walks on top of the very thing that has you in fear, that storm you think will never calm down.  As long as you keep your eyes on Jesus and not the storm, then the waves and roaring wind will have no authority.

We serve a God of miracles! Faith is what will get us out of the boat and into the arms of Jesus. We all go through storms, but where is your faith in the midst of it?

Let’s walk on water. We are over-comers because He is able.
