Patricio Patrick Salvador Gilman March 17, 1999 ~ January 11, 2026 (age 26)

Funeral services for Patrick Gilman, 26, currently of Mountainair, NM will be held at 2:00 PM, Wed., Jan. 21, 2026 in the Wheeler Mortuary Chapel with Rev. Steve Smith officiating.  Burial will follow in the Portales Cemetery.

Patricio Salvador Gilman was born Mar. 17, 1999 in Albuquerque to the home of Jami Diane Gilman and Oracio Ornelas, and died very unexpectedly in Mountainair on Sun., Jan. 11, 2026.  Patrick lived in Portales until he was 15 at which time he moved to Mountainair.  During his time of working, he had had a number of different jobs.  He enjoyed fishing and just being outdoors.  Patrick was an “Old Soul.”  He just enjoyed simple things like spending time with family and listening to music.

He is survived by his mother, Jami Torres of Clovis, and step-fathers, Brad Encinias of Las Lunas and Leroy Torres of Clovis and his father, Oracio Ornelas of Portales; his sons, Carlos Rios of Clovis,and Abdiel and Patricio Gilman of Mountainair; two brothers, Francisco Encinias of Socorro and Paul Guitierrez Albuquerque; his twin sister, Jazmine Gilman of Mountainair, Filomena Encinias of Palvadera, NM, Felicity Encinias of Palvadera, NM, Kyosha Garcia of Roswell, Katana Garcia of Dallas and Judy Garcia of Las Vegas, NM.  He was preceded in death by a brother, Brad Encinias, who died June 23, 2021.
