2020 has been anything but normal, as we all have found out. The Chamber has been so sad to have to cancel all of the fun events we do yearly. We’ve missed out on festivities to celebrate Easter, the 4th of July, Halloween and even our annual Heritage Days. With the disappointment mounting and COVID-19 cases rising, things in our state have been shut down again.

The Roosevelt County Chamber of Commerce knew we needed some joy this holiday season, since things aren’t “normal.” So, they decided against cancelling the Christmas Light Parade!

This year will be different, but our local businesses, churches and non-profits will be decorating floats for your enjoyment. We will be having a REVERSE parade!

That’s right! The floats will be stationary, and you are invited to drive through them. So, here’s what you need to know:

When: December 4, 2020

Time: 6 pm – 7 pm

Line-up begins at 5 pm and will move to Third and Abilene Area and the parade entries will be lined up down to the South past City Park, then around the park back to Third on Chicago past the soccer field.

We ask that you follow COVID safe practices.

If you’d like to enter in the parade, please CLICK HERE to visit the Chamber’s website!
