LODGER’S TAX FUNDING 2025-2026

 

 

 

The City of Portales Lodger’s Tax Advisory Board is accepting applications and proposals for advertising, publicizing,  and promoting tourist-related  attractions, facilities and events of the municipality  or county and tourist facilities or attractions within the area.   Funding is provided through the Lodger’s Tax Act Fund.   Interested parties should contact the City Clerk’s Office for the guidelines/proposal  packet, phone 575-356-6662  or at www.portalesnm.gov.

Our goal is to go paperless. Help the city accomplish this by filling out the application in electronic format and submitting your applications by email.

 

COMPLETED  APPLICATIONS  MUST BE TURNED IN TO THE CITY CLERK OFFICE by 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, September 2, 2025. All applications can be submitted electronically to: cityclerk@portalesnm.gov

The L.T. Board will acknowledge applications  and hear presentations  at their public hearing scheduled for 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, September 10, 2025, in the Council Chambers at the Memorial Building.
