Sharon “Sherry” Harvey Obituary
Sharon Lou “Sherry” Harvey passed away on September 22, 2026, in Midwest City, Oklahoma. She was born on November 9, 1942, in Harrisburg, Illinois, to Warren and Janet Allen. Shortly after her birth, her family moved to Portales, New Mexico, where she made her home and built a life filled with family, hard work, and love.
Sherry married Ralph Wayne Harvey on January 28, 1961. Together, they shared a life centered around family and farming. As a farm wife, Sherry worked faithfully alongside her husband and devoted herself to creating a loving home.
She later worked at Eastern New Mexico University Health Services, where she eventually retired. Sherry enjoyed square dancing and fishing, and she will be remembered for her strength, kindness, dedication, cooking and love and sacrifice for her family.
Sherry was preceded in death by her parents, Warren and Janet Allen; her husband, Ralph Wayne Harvey and her infant son.
She is survived by her sons Calvin Harvey of Midwest City, Oklahoma, Billy Harvey and wife Debra of Oklahoma City Oklahoma. Her sister Vicki Carmichael and Husband JE of Levelland Texas, Her grandchildren Coby Harvey and Wife Ashley, Kara Stone and Husband Joshua both of Moore Oklahoma and five great-grandchildren.
Sherry’s love, laughter, and memory will remain in the hearts of all who knew her. She will be deeply missed.
In keeping with Sherry’s wishes, a private service for family will be held at a later date. Details will be shared with family.
