The numbers are just amazing!  When the First United Methodist cooks turkey dinner, they do it up right.  With 28 HUGE roasters of dressing, 52 turkeys, 49 gallons of broth to make gravy, 24 gallons of cranberry sauce, 450 apples to make salad! Throw in the mix, 150 volunteers to prepare and serve up 2,137 meals and it all adds up to what is not only a great meal but also the social event of the season.

Shelly Atwood, turkey dinner coordinator for  the Methodist Church told us, “I just am always blown away by our volunteers and the community support, it really takes us all to get it done”  The day after is always a bitter sweet day, with another turkey dinner done and to early to start the next one, Thank you to everyone who helped.”
