The Elida Lady Tigers played in the first round of the state tournament for Class 1A, facing Cimmaron, who was ranked no. 8 in the bracket, right in front of the no. 9 ranked Lady Tigers.
After a hard fought game, the Lady Tigers lost 66-40, disappointingly ending their basketball season. Their final record was 15-9 and 8-2 in district.
