On a side note I have to mention the Rio Olympics. Yes, I have been glued to the television these past two weeks and will be sad when they are over on Sunday. I have been amazed at the talent and the accomplishments of the athletes. The time, endurance, and sacrifices by these athletes is so inspiring. Also encouraging is the range of ages, some so young and others older than that number you have in your head of an Olympian. The stories told of how some of these athletes have gone through trials, failure and then attained such great accomplishments is thrilling. It have even encouraged me to do a little less complaining when the alarm goes off for our morning run. Yes, I run, I’m slower than a herd of turtles stampeding through peanut butter…but I run.
