The Eastern New Mexico University baseball team (22-8, 1-3 LSC) heads to the Sooner state to take on Cameron (18-11, 0-4) in a four-game set. The Hounds are coming off a 1-3 weekend against third-ranked West Texas A&M, with all three losses coming by no more than two runs.

Offensively, the Greyhounds have showed a disciplined approach at the plate to lead the Lone Star Conference in a number of statistical categories. ENMU leads the LSC in walks, hit-by-pitch, hits, runs, sacrifice bunts and scoring while the Green and Silver are second in batting average, doubles, home runs, on-base percentage, sacrifice flies and stolen bases. As a team, the Greyhounds are hitting at a .337 clip and outscoring the opposition, 270-98.

Infielder Alex DeLaCruz saw his 13-game hitting streak snapped this past weekend, but has still reached base in 17-consecutive games. Overall, the second baseman is hitting at a .445 clip to lead the LSC and his 42 runs scored rank third in the nation. Outfielder Michael McNicholl leads the club with six home runs and 45 RBI while hitting .380 on the season.

Eastern has been equally as strong on the mound this season, combining for a team ERA of 3.33. Starting pitching has been dominant for the Hounds, led by Keenan Dodd with a 3-1 record and a 2.00 ERA. Nick DeArmond and Austin Paisar also boast sub-3.00 ERAs as starting pitchers. Relievers have shut the opposition down through the first half of the season. Out of the bullpen, opponents are hitting just .203 against ENMU relievers with a 2.61 ERA. Victor Persad has tossed 11.2 scoreless frames out of the bullpen this season, spanning seven appearances.

Scouting Cameron
The Aggies are off to an 18-11 record in the 2017 season. Offensively, Micah Kaaukai and Cody Bower are each hitting above .400 to start the season. On the mound, Gaige Vines has a 3.29 ERA and a 2-3 record to lead the team. As a team, the Aggies hit at a .315 clip while the pitching staff holds a 6.53 ERA.
